The Bascarsijske Noci summer festival kicked off in the parking lot beside my building. For the entire month of July, everyday, sometimes more than one per day, there are arts performances.

Tonight was a Vienna Men's Choir performing along side the Sarajevo Philharmonic.

We had VIP seating with the other Embassy and NATO guests (but the Embassy folks largely no-showed; not sure why).

It didn't start until 9 pm, but fortunately I was able to run Eden home during the intermission. She really had a great time and we were on tv (that's twice for Eden in a week).

 

It was a great mix of performances and the weather was perfect...if anything maybe a little cool.
