The swearing in

Here are the photos from my swearing in at Wiesbaden, Germany. The first photo is of the First Lieutenant that served as the officer to preside over my swearing in (we just wandered around until we found someone). He was a really nice guy who had already had a long service record as a non-commissioned officer before attending Officer Candidate School. (yes, I am taller than he is)

Serious though, start pushin'.

So I did...just now...and I was easily able to do it...doubt it?  Just look at the size of my shoulders.  I wore a strapless dress to Ted's sister's wedding and Ted's dad commented at that time that my shoulders are broad.  That was...gosh...almost 12 years ago now and I am just getting back into the physical condition I was in then.  I know I will have to do many more push-ups in Basic Training.  I hope they won't get any larger.  Anybody want a hug?
